About this build
Michael S. built his 1992 Chevy S10 into a mega truck on big tires, and it got the lighting to match: a 24-piece kit of High-Intensity RGB Rock Lights. Kits of 24 and up are made for show builds, and on a truck sitting this high, the extra lights fill the open space under the frame and around the tires with color.
Each light runs three 16W Cree LEDs for 1,600 lumens in an IP69 waterproof, shockproof aluminum housing, with color control from the Bluetooth app. Michael also added the Wireless Switch Panel, a 6-gang system that runs up to six accessories without drilling holes in the dash, so there is room to grow. How many rock lights does a lifted Chevy S10 need?
A 4 to 8 light kit covers the wheel wells on most trucks, 12 to 16 lights give a full underbody glow, and 24 to 40 lights are for show builds and big rigs. Kits come in 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 and 40 lights.
What does the Wireless Switch Panel do?
It runs up to 6 accessories from one panel, with no holes drilled in the dash.
