About this build
Brian R. runs a 4 ft High-Intensity RGB+W LED whip on his 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and this shot from a night on the slickrock shows why. A lit whip makes the Wrangler easy to spot on the trail, over crests and between rocks, so your group always knows where you are.
The 4 ft length gives the Wrangler Unlimited a tall flag without going overboard for a daily-driven Jeep, and RGB+W means you can run color or plain white depending on the trail and the crowd. If you want extra protection, a Buffer Spring under the whip takes trail hits and snap-backs. It is one of the simplest lighting adds you can make to a Wrangler. Every part on this build is in the parts list above.
