About Chase Lights for Trucks & UTVs
LED Chase Lights Built for Dust, Dunes and the Trail
Chase lights keep you visible to everyone behind you when the dust kicks up. Every FCKLightBars chase light is performance rated, built with quality parts and backed by a lifetime warranty — from amber/white chase light bars to compact chase pods and full rear chase bars for side-by-sides.
Pick Your Chase Light
- Chase Light Bar (20"–50") — an amber/white LED light bar with strobe. Run it rear-facing as a chase bar or up front as an amber light bar. Harness and wireless controller included.
- Dual Purpose Chase Pods — amber/white pods with a built-in strobe module, sold as a pair. Our top-selling chase light for trucks, bed racks and bumpers.
- Chase Flushmount Pods — the same four modes recessed into a bumper or rear panel for a clean, factory-style look.
- Chase Series V2 Rear Bar — a rear chase bar with brake, turn, hazard, strobe and reverse functions for UTVs and desert rigs.
What Are Chase Lights?
Chase lights mount to the rear of a truck, UTV or desert vehicle so the rigs behind you can track your position through dust, fog and rain. Amber is the go-to color because it cuts through airborne dust better than white, and an amber strobe stands out from far back. Most of our chase lights also run solid white, so they double as reverse and scene lights.
Where to Mount Chase Lights on a Truck or UTV
- Trucks: bed racks, chase racks, the tailgate area, rear bumpers and bed rails (see our Tacoma & Tundra bed rail chase kit).
- Side-by-sides: the rear cage on a Can-Am Maverick X3, Polaris RZR and other UTVs.
- Up front: amber/white chase pods and the chase light bar also make great fog and ditch lights.
Chase Light FAQ
Amber or white chase lights?
For being seen through dust, amber wins. Our dual-purpose chase lights give you both, so you can run amber strobe on the trail and solid white for reverse or work light.
Are chase lights street legal?
Laws vary by state. Strobe and auxiliary lighting is generally intended for off-road use, so check your local regulations before running strobes on public roads.
Do chase lights need a special harness?
The chase light bar includes its own harness and wireless controller. Chase pods run on our Dual Harness, or wire everything to the wireless switch panel.
